Our directors have been hard at work in the docu pharma space this season. From The Garden State Parkway to Nashville, TN and Jackson, Mississippi, Evoke and Evoke Mind + Matter kept the Cutter team busy telling stories that are educational and have a real impact.
This August, Cutter Director Farah X shot a docuseries in Nashville, TN that uses a personal approach to explore the journey of healing and show that community and communication are vital aspects of receiving healthcare.
In September, Cutter director Aubrey Smyth shot a healthcare provider documentary film in Jackson, Mississippi that is raising awareness for hereditary angioedema (HAE) in a humanistic way. Gary Irwin kicked off the summer with Team Cutter helming the #TeamOcaliva campaign using conversational style interviews to bring light to a new treatment for primary biliary cholangitis (PBC).We love seeing each filmmaker’s unique visions as they use personal patient stories to raise awareness about the importance of communication, self advocacy, and community on the road to healing.
